Mission Statement
Judge Marianne E. Becker pioneered efforts in and out of her courtroom that encouraged victims to share their experiences in an intimate forum with their offender for personal healing. As a result, the opportunity provided the offender with rehabilitation and the community with a safer environment. Her vision reflected the important principles of restorative justice.
It is the mission of the Honorable Marianne E. Becker Fund to create an awareness of restorative justice in the community through educational projects. Furthermore, the fund will work to identify and support growing restorative justice programs operating in Waukesha County, WI.
